Restaurant Weinbruck in Obermoschel

We were there for the first time and were very disappointed. The veal escalope divided into two pieces, one very tender and the second a little tough. The potatoes were cold and tasted old. But the Pilsgoulash did not match the taste and was not tasty, like canned mushrooms and tomato paste. The dish with the rump steak wasn't 250g, as ordered, but smaller. The potatoes were cold too. I gave the one star to the conditions, you were very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, at the reception, disinfection agents with chlorine are used and everything is correct.

Very long waiting times, the service was unfriendly and overwhelmed, I think it was almost 14 euros for a child schnitzel and it was really a child schnitzel, then we didn't even get sauce because the answer from the waitress was, there is no kid's schnitzel. We were there on vacation and had made a reservation 4 weeks in advance, but the 3 to 4 other tables were served first, so we had to wait at least 25 to 30 minutes to order drinks. And so it dragged on over the evening.

Didn't feel uncomfortable or insecure for a second.

Nice restaurant in the vaulted cellar with atmosphere. There is also a patio in front of the restaurant. The menu is modern and experimental. The food tastes very good and is not 08-15. The regional wine list and the homemade lemonades are highly recommended. All in all, always worth a visit.

For handicapped people there is even a stairlift. Those who do not want to miss out on "what the farmer does not know" do not want to do without schnitzel and rumpsteak, will find what they are looking for here too and will not have to try these delicious, extraordinary and very tasty combinations by the chef. The prices are very civil. We were already full with our starter and main course. Wines from the district, which we always find great. Very attractive location! A large vaulted cellar, which nevertheless looks cozy due to the furnishings and decoration, offers enough space to relax in pairs or with a large company. We were there for Christmas with 7 people. Our food was ordered in advance, so everything came very quickly, including a little greeting from the kitchen. The meat was to the point, the vegetable selection was original and like everything that evening, homemade and freshly prepared. Each course was arranged with great attention to detail and very tasty. Kitchen, service, chef, everyone was very quick and always there when you needed them without being too pushy. I noticed a positive thing about a passenger lift at the entrance, so people who are no longer fit enough to go upstairs come to the basement of the Weinbrück restaurant. Toilets can be reached from the guest room at ground level! A recommendation from me, 5 stars! (Pictures do not do the food justice, the lighting conditions were unfavorable)
